Moon Jar - Earthy

This beautiful moon jar is made with brown bear on the potter's wheel.
Moon jars are quite a challenge for me, trying to get the perfect round shape.
This piece was thrown, trimmed and fired in a kiln at cone 6.
I glazed this piece with 3 different glazes, layered one on top of another and the inside has a creamy beige finish.
This jar would be a great accent in any room, on a mantle a centerpiece on a table. It can also hold a large bunch of fresh flowers!
The piece is 5.5" wide and 7" tall and is dishwasher safe.
Slight imperfections are a part of handmade pottery and add character to the piece.
